For kids, in plain words

  • You don't need an account or a password.
  • We never ask for your real name, email, birthday, photo or where you live. Use a pen name!
  • Your stories and drawings stay on your computer or tablet. We can't see them.

For parents and teachers

What we collect. FutureSpark does not collect personal information from children. The site has no accounts, sign-up forms, chat, comments, public galleries, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server.

Where kids' work is stored. Stories, drawings and comics are stored only in the browser on the device being used (local storage), or in a file the user chooses to download. Nothing is uploaded to FutureSpark. Clearing browser data will erase autosaved work.

Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.

Links to other sites. Some adult-facing pages link to other websites, such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's donation page and inZane Comics. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Donation links are kept away from the kids' creative tools.

Emails. If a parent, teacher or partner emails us, we use that email only to reply. We ask children not to email us directly.

Questions or requests. Contact us at inzanecomics@gmail.com.
